Sarah Van Meter

Site Director, M.S., CCRC
Sarah received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology/chemistry as a cum laude graduate of Murray State University in 2009. Her six years of pharmacy technician experience led to her desire to work with medications on the forefront of approval. She transitioned into clinical trials and now has 10 years of clinical trial experience in various therapeutic areas as a certified clinical research coordinator. Sarah’s ability to produce high-quality work has led to multiple repeat sponsor trials. Her strong skill set and work ethic earned her a promotion to Lead Clinical Research Coordinator and, most recently, to Site Director in 2017. In August of 2019, Sarah graduated with honors from the Clinical Research Organization and Management Program at Drexel University of Pennsylvania earning a Master’s Degree in Science.

Brittany Walker

Research Assistant, CNA, CPT
Brittany has been with Four Rivers Clinical Research since February 2016. She started as the site receptionist and was later promoted to the role of research assistant. Her previous work as a dental assistant confirmed her love for the medical field and inspired her to continue her education. Since 2016, Brittany has earned CNA certification, Phlebotomy certification, an Associates Degree in Health Science, and recently became a RMA(AMT) in 2019 after earning her Associates in Medical Assisting degree from Keiser University. Brittany has a friendly and outgoing personality that makes her great with our patients.

Allie Guill

Lead Clinical Research Coordinator, BA, CCRC
Allie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Murray State University in 2010. Her early career was spent working as a Clinical Associate and Employment Specialist with Four Rivers Behavioral Health working with SMI (Severe Mentally Ill) clients. When the opportunity arose in 2016, Allie began a new career in the field of clinical research. Allie has since received her certification as a clinical research coordinator and, due to her exceptional work ethic and job performance, was promoted to Lead Coordinator in 2018.

McKenzie Allen

Regulatory Documents Administrator
McKenzie started working with medication in 2011 earning her certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She then spent 3 years working with patients that suffered traumatic brain injuries on their medication administration. When the opportunity presented itself, McKenzie entered into the field of clinical research in 2017 as our research assistant. In 2018, McKenzie transitioned into the new role of regulatory documents administrator and returned back to school to work towards a Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders.

Lacey Forrester

Lacey joined our team in February 2019. Lacey is a mother to a five year old son, & worked at Green Turtle Bay in Human Resources & Accounting previously. She has joined our team with interest in Clinical Research. Lacey looks forward to growing with the company and becoming more familiar in the medical field.

Dr. Caitlyn Cecil

Research Investigator, MD
Dr. Caitlyn Cecil is a board-certified pediatrician and Sub- Investigator who joined our research team in January of 2019. “DR. Caitlyn” is also a dedicated provider at The Cecil Clinic.

Dr. John Cecil

Research Investigator, MD
Dr. Cecil is a board-certified pediatrician and Principal Investigator with an immense amount of clinical research experience in various indications. He is an owner of a successful private practice & urgent care facility, The Cecil Clinic, located on New Holt Rd. in Paducah which also serves as a satellite site for Four Rivers’ research activities.

Dr. Christopher Phillips

Research Investigator, MD
Dr. Phillips has served as an investigator with Four Rivers Clinical Research on a variety of indications since 2010. In addition to his research services, Dr. Phillips is also a board-certified rheumatologist at Paducah Rheumatology.

Dr. David Stricklin

Research Investigator, MD
Dr. David Stricklin is a board-certified internal medicine doctor who recently retired as a hospitalist from Mercy Health Paducah in 2018. He has an extensive clinical research background in a variety of indications and serves as both a Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator.

Dr. Cynthia Bowman-Stroud

Research Investigator, MD
Dr. Bowman-Stroud has served as an investigator with Four Rivers Clinical Research on a variety of indications since 2008. In addition to her research services, Dr. Bowman-Stroud is also a board-certified family practitioner at Mercy Family Medicine.

Lance McCary

Research Sub-Investigator, PA
Lance McCary is a physician’s assistant who started working in the clinical research field in 2017. Lance assists the study investigators with clinical trial implementation and serves on many of our rheumatology trials. Lance hopes to further his clinical trial experience by becoming more involved in other indications. In addition to his research services, Lance works in the emergency departments of two area hospitals.

Megan Caito

Research Infusion Nurse, RN
Megan Caito is a registered nurse who began working in clinical research in 2017. Megan serves as an infusion nurse and blinded study drug administrator for some of our rheumatology trials. In addition to Megan’s research services, she also works in the emergency department of Baptist Health Paducah.

Terri McGuire

Research Respiratory Therapist, RT
Terri McGuire is a certified respiratory therapist who assists Four Rivers with implementation of pulmonary study procedures. Terri has worked on several clinical trials for patients with COPD over the years. In addition to her research services, Terri also works as a RT in a hospital setting.
